🌸 After School Sewing – A Creative Journey for Ages 7+

Term 4 | 8-Week Course | Week 2–Week 9

Welcome to After School Sewing, a cosy and creative space where young makers aged 7 and up can learn the timeless art of hand stitching.

Each project runs over two weeks, giving children time to practice stitches, problem-solve, and finish their creations with pride. Our projects are designed to build practical skills, nurture patience, and spark imagination — all while having fun and making friends.

Whether your child has never threaded a needle before or already loves to make things, they’ll be warmly welcomed into our studio community.

Parents are invited to drop and go, or stay and relax in our cosy studio while your child creates.

✨ What We’ll Be Creating – Week by Week

Week 2 & 3 –  Sewn Scrunchies
We begin with a fun, wearable project — learning simple stitches while creating colourful scrunchies to take home.

Week 4 & 5 –  Bookmarks
Children will practice neat stitching and embellishments as they design their own unique felt bookmarks.

Week 6 & 7 – Bag Charms
From stars to hearts to mini animals, children will stitch and stuff little shapes to turn into cheerful bag charms.

Week 8 & 9 – Sleep Masks
To finish our term, children will sew and decorate their own soft sleep masks — practical, creative, and fun!
