Cosmic Collage

Embark on a creative journey through space and colour in our Cosmic Collage workshop! In this vibrant class, students will create a jewel-toned landscape collage inspired by the work of Australian artist Laura Blythman.

Using bold colours and textured papers, students will explore the world of collage. They'll cut, layer, and arrange different pieces of paper to form an ethereal landscape. The inspiration for this workshop comes from the dynamic artwork of Laura Blythman, known for her detailed collage technique.

This workshop encourages creativity and experimentation, allowing students to bring their vision of an other worldly landscape to life through color, shape, and texture. The process of cutting and layering enhances fine motor skills, while the freedom of open-ended art fosters self-expression and confidence.

By the end of the class, students will leave with a beautiful, one-of-a-kind cosmic landscape collage that reflects their unique imagination.

Parents are welcome to assist their child in creating their artwork if they'd like, ensuring a fun and collaborative experience. However, if parents wish to create their own artwork, they will need to purchase an adult ticket to participate.

We take photos of student artwork during our classes for social media but never include any faces.
