Please note Term 2 is an eleven week term. Craft Club is a 9 Week program and will run every Tuesday afternoon from Week 2 to Week 10.

Welcome to After School Craft Club, a gentle space where young makers aged 5 to 11 can explore, create, and meet fellow crafters!

Each week, we dive into a new hands-on project using a variety of materials and techniques — from yarn and beads to paper crafts and natural elements. Our projects are designed to nurture creativity, build confidence, and spark imagination, all while having fun and making friends.

Whether your child is already a keen creator or simply loves making things with their hands, they’ll be warmly welcomed into our creative community.

Parents are invited to drop and go, or stay and relax in our cosy studio while your child creates.

What We’ll Be Creating – Week by Week

Week 2 – Yarn Paintings
We begin with colourful, tactile creations as children layer and glue yarn onto canvas or card to create textured “paintings” full of movement, pattern, and personality.

Week 3 – Beaded Bracelets & Bag Charms
Hands-on bead fun! Children will design personalised bracelets and bag charms using beads, cords, and charms while exploring colour, pattern, and simple jewellery-making techniques.

Week 4 – Scrapbooking “All About Me”
A creative keepsake. Children will design scrapbook-style posters using layered papers, washi tape, stickers, and embellishments to celebrate themselves and their favourite things with positive affirmations.

Week 5 – Weaving Animal Faces on Burlap
Soft yarns and simple weaving techniques bring animal faces to life! Children will create textured, playful portraits of their favourite creatures.

Week 6 – Needle Felted Rainbows
A colourful introduction to needle felting! Children will use soft wool to create whimsical rainbow designs, exploring texture and the art of “painting” with fibre.

Week 7 – Paper Mache Rabbits
Messy, creative fun! Children will shape and layer their own rabbits using papier-mâché techniques, bringing their little creations to life.

Week 8 – Crafting Fairy Doors with Natural Materials
Bring a touch of magic to the studio! Using twigs, leaves, moss, and other natural treasures, children will design tiny fairy doors to inspire imaginative play and storytelling.

Week 9 – Collage Paintings
A mixed-media adventure! Children will combine paper and cardstock to create layered, expressive artworks bursting with colour and texture.

Week 10 – Paper & Cardboard Flowers
To finish the term, children will transform simple paper materials into bright, decorative flowers, exploring colour, shape, and playful design.
