Children will design and create a unique pair of earrings to take home and wear.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eChildren will choose from an assortment of colourful wool fibres, beads and stencils, experimenting with different colour combinations and planning designs ranging from flowers to mushrooms.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUsing needle-felting techniques, children will learn how loose wool fibres can be shaped and transformed into small decorative pieces using stencils. They’ll then be introduced to basic jewellery-making techniques as they assemble their designs and turn their felted creations into finished earrings.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere will be plenty of room for individual creativity as children choose their own colours, shapes, beads and embellishments. Every pair will be completely unique!\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll materials and tools are provided, including colourful wool fibres, beads and jewellery-making components.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis workshop is perfect for children who enjoy jewellery, tiny details, colour and creative making. They’ll learn new skills while creating something special they can take home and wear.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003ePlease note:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eNeedle-felting needles are very sharp and will be used throughout this workshop. Children will receive clear safety instructions and will be closely supervised while using the needles.\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003eFinger guards will also be available for children who would like additional protection while felting.\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eParents are welcome to stay and observe, or to drop off children aged seven and over. If you are dropping your child off, a sign-in sheet and consent waiver will be provided for a parent or guardian to complete at the beginning of the class.
