They’ll explore different printmaking techniques, including carving, stamping and layering, before creating a special sack ready to be filled with Christmas surprises. Each child will have the opportunity to develop their own designs and make something completely unique.\u003c\/span\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003ePrinted Christmas Cards and Wrapping Paper with Sage\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOver at Sage’s table, children will create a collection of handmade Christmas cards and festive wrapping paper. They’ll experiment with stamps, patterns, textures and repeated prints while learning how simple shapes and images can be combined to create beautiful designs for sharing with family and friends.\u003c\/span\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWith four whole hours in the studio, there’s no need to rush. Between the two guided printmaking projects, children will have time to \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eexperiment with different printing techniques\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, exploring carving, stamping, layering and mark-making. They’ll be encouraged to test ideas, try different materials and see where their creativity takes them. They’ll also have time to explore our \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eTinker Corner\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, fossicking through materials and creating independently.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWe’ll stop for a relaxed \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003emorning tea break\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e together too, giving everyone a chance to recharge before diving back into making.
